Associate Account Manager

The sales support organization at Clearpath is central to all customer focused activities. As a key enabler of the overall sales team, Clearpath’s sales support organization supports and advances both campaigns run by the outside sales team as well as opportunities managed exclusively by the inside team. This is a great entry-level position for a recent graduate or someone looking to change careers and make a splash into the Tech industry. You will be surrounded by a group of bright and driven individuals.

Position Responsibilities

Sales Quotes/Proposals

  • Creating sales quote for customers
  • Preparing and reviewing pricing proposals with outside sales representatives
  • Building hardware/software configurations

Order Processing

  • Reviewing accuracy of bills of materials and COGS
  • Working with distribution partners to create sales quotes
  • Ensuring delivery and troubleshooting logistical issues
  • Overall liaison between outside sales and accounting teams

Customer Relationship Management/Order Management Responsibilities

  • Resolving issues regarding incorrect input/setup of orders in SalesForce
  • Periodic validation of customer and vendor information between Accounting software and
  • Working with Sales and Accounting teams to resolve issues

Shipping and Logistics

  • Maintaining clear communication with client and Project Management Teams for processed orders
  • Opening incoming/outgoing shipment tickets at data centers
  • Handling client move requests

Job Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree from accredited college/university in a business related field.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Superb telephone sales personality skills
  • Superb attention to detail – highly organized
  • Able to multi-task and to dynamically shift priorities
  • Background or understanding of IT, or IT sales experience
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Extensive familiarity with common office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Understanding of basic transaction principles such as gross margin, cost and revenue
  • Familiarity with, Microsoft CRM or similar CRM tools

Training Program Highlights

Stage 1: Weeks 1-4 (Basic Training)

  • Follow defined training path for product portfolio represented by Clearpath
    • Includes VMware, EMC, Cisco and IT fundamentals

Stage 2: Weeks 5 and beyond

  • Develop quotes for field reps
  • Develop manufacturing relationships

Stage 3: Weeks 20 and beyond

  • Work with engineers to learn how to build configurations

Stage 4: Weeks 52 and beyond

  • Build configurations without technical validation
