There are few things in life that grab the attention of IT leaders, and it’s been my experience that there are two rising stars in the world of “What application is best?” for Quality Management of all user interaction and Service Desk interaction to log issues, track progress, and manage incident resolution.

Ryan Kaplan, Principal Architect for Collaboration, CDI

Ryan Kaplan is a Unified Communications (UC) Principal Solutions Architect with over 20 years of experience in telecommunications. In his current role, Ryan is responsible for architecting and designing UC and contact center solutions in addition to the strategic planning, development and implementation of new communications technology initiatives to enhance customer business objectives. Prior to joining CDI, he was a Senior Solutions Architect for Presidio, where he was focused on enterprise growth and solutioning complex contact center technologies. After a successful career in the United States Air Force, Ryan worked for the Department of Defense deploying UC for their forward operating bases. He has executed many large-scale UC environments both nationally and internationally that include the design and implementation of multiple locations, consolidations, relocations and migrations. Ryan lives in Holmdel, New Jersey and is a fan of the New York Yankees and Syracuse football. He is a proud United States Veteran and in his spare time, Ryan can usually be found at the beach, playing tennis, golf, fishing, puttering around the house or spending time with his wife and two sons.
