Our Storage Solutions Engineers are responsible for overall design, implementation and documentation of storage solutions (SAN/NAS/CAS) that are tightly integrated with today’s applications such as MS SQL, Exchange, Oracle, SharePoint, VMware and a variety of enterprise technologies.
Duties:

Design and implement storage solutions based on storage technologies from EMC, NetApp, IBM and Hitachi.

Integration of storage technologies with Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Oracle, Linux, Windows, VMware, SharePoint and other commonly used enterprise technologies

Maintain professional communication with our internal and external clients

Work on multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deliverable deadlines

Upkeep of customer satisfaction through the implementation process and direct interaction with our clients and prospects

Maintenance of necessary training and certification levels

Contribute ideas for solutions to Professional Services business problems

Create/update/maintain storage related documentation and diagrams of storage hardware infrastructure. This will include operational run books, detailed server/switch/LUN topology. PowerPoint presentations will be required on occasion.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or commensurate experience required
- 3+ years of storage systems management experience
- Strong technical knowledge and experience of one or more of the following:
o Hitachi USP and AMS series
o EMC Symmetrix DMX-DMX4 series storage infrastructure
o EMC Celerra NS Series
o Cisco, Brocade and QLogic fibre channel switching infrastructure
o NetApp FAS 2000 and 3000 series arrays
o IBM DS and XIV series arrays
o Multipathing software such as EMC PowerPath and Veritas DMP
o Emulex and QLogic Host Bus Adapter technology
o Mastery of fundamental storage concepts such as IOPS, Throughput, RAID technologies, zoning, system cache, LUN masking
o Snapshot technologies from various manufacturers – including Snapshot and Cloning
o Windows and Unix operating systems (Windows, AIX, HPUX, Solaris, Linux)
o Replication software for storage arrays (such as SRDF, SnapMirror, SnapView, ShadowCopy)

Knowledge of Ethernet networks and TCP/IP a plus
